Glass has advantages such as transparency, air tightness, odorlessness, resistance to chemical reactions with acids and alkalis, and low cost.
Due to variations in glass material, the main techniques for pattern printing are screen printing and decal application. Screen printing is monochrome with simple patterns, using a plate-making and ink-brushing method. Decals can be multi-colored, but generally cannot have gradients; standard colors include red, yellow, and blue.
Glass cups are available in single-layer and double-layer designs. Double-layer designs are primarily for advertising purposes, allowing logos to be printed on the inner layer for promotional gifts or giveaways, and also providing some insulation.
